Landmarks are major points of interest in Outbound that you can visit. Each of these has a terminal that rewards you with a blueprint. These blueprints are similar to those that you'll get from Signal Towers, but typically offer machines or major upgrades tied to progressing further through the game. For example, the first two landmarks you might visit are the Fire Lookout, which rewards you with the Sawmill required to create wooden planks to rebuild bridges, and the Treehut, which gets you the Building blueprint so you can build a base on top of your camper van. Once you've arrived at a landmark, you'll likely find a terminal (PC). These can be interacted with once you've found a Signal Decryptor, a Password Databank, and a Terminal Executable. All three of these items will be within the boundaries of the landmark itself. As long as you make sure that you've looked around the entire landmark and checked shelves, tables, and other surfaces, you'll likely find these relatively easily. After you've collected each of the three items, return to the landmark's terminal and interact with it to download the blueprint on offer.

Beyond obtaining the blueprint, there's not a huge amount else. You may find some resources, such as flowers, water, bottle caps, and food that can come in handy on the rest of your adventure, but the blueprint is the main prize up for grabs. You can also find notes at landmarks that give you a bit of insight into the lives of the people who worked or lived at them.
