Unfortunately, 007 First Light will not feature any form of multiplayer, as the developers said that it “wasn’t in the conversation at all” when developing the game. Instead, IO Interactive are very determined to create a narrative-based adventure, and to keep it single player would best feed into the studio’s strengths. It might be slightly disappointing for some of you out there, especially fans of the classic N64 Goldeneye multiplayer, but it’s promising to see a studio have such a clear vision for a game.
