The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models feature M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max chips for super fast performance, with mini-LED displays, MagSafe fast charging, multiple ports, and more. Apple refreshed the base 14-inch MacBook Pro in October 2025, and updated the higher-end 14-inch and 16-inch machines in March 2026.
Given that all MacBook Pro variants have been updated recently, now is a good time to buy, but be aware we are expecting another refresh in 2026. A high-end MacBook Pro with an OLED touchscreen display is coming in late 2026.

The iMac is Apple's most iconic desktop machine, featuring a 24-inch display and the M4 chip. The iMac is currently Apple's only desktop Mac with a built-in display.
Apple last updated the iMac in October 2024, adding a faster M4 chip, new colors, and a handful of other improvements. A new model is expected sometime in 2026, but we don't have information on timing yet. If you need an iMac now, it is an okay time to buy, but with a refresh coming, you might want to hold off. There's also a possibility that we could get a higher-end iMac with M5 Max chip in 2026.
