Is the gacha in Neverness to Everness fair or not?
Well, it's complicated. If acquiring just the character and a decent weapon is all you're after, then yes, NTE is a lot kinder than any gacha I've ever played. However, it's not as fair as it initially seems if you care about cosmetics. 200 pulls to get an exclusive banner outfit? That's expensive, even accounting for pulls carrying over into a character's next rerun. It amounts to the exact same as losing your 50/50 every time, plus an extra 20 pulls. The bigger issue comes from the way gacha math is displayed on a cheery board game. It's fun to play, but when wallets can top up dice rolls in
