My first and most fundamental grievance with the Rog Ally X is the never-ending update monster constantly chasing me. The agonizing process of booting a Windows handheld after a long break is unmatched. On a Nintendo Switch or a Steam Deck, you run a single system update and play; however, on Ally X, you have to fight through three completely separate, non-coordinating update infrastructure layers.
