Up to eight Mii's can live in a shared house in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. This is the limit for individual Mii’s that live together in a single shared building anywhere on the Island. Even if you've got a couple living together in a shared house, they will still count as two individuals towards the eight Mii limit. I've personally been designing the houses around Mii's I want to get close, like the Marvel House, and even trying a bit of matchmaking by setting up potential romance candidates as roommates!

While you can technically time travel in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, it won't work out how you might be hoping. Time travelling in other Nintendo games that use the real world clock allows you to speed up the progress of various projects, but that doesn't apply in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. Tomodachi Life Living the Dream launches on April 16, but depending on where you are, you might be able to jump in and start playing as early as April 15. An official launch time hasn’t been confirmed, but most Nintendo games tend to go live at midnight for each region’s most eastern timezone, which translates to 11pm CT on April 15 or 4am UTC on April 16.
