When you defeat the Child of Terramorphous, you can head through the purple rift to return to the beginning of the mission. You cannot farm individual bosses; you will have to click the Child of Terramorphous mission board outside the door, and you will have to takedown the enemies and minibosses before reaching the Child of Terramorphous. On the Takedown mission board, you can select Mayhem Takedown, which increases enemy health, damage taken, and loot drops.
