Blueprints are the main hidden collectible that you'll be tracking down in Bubsy 4D, with one found in almost all of the game's levels. They're usually very off the beaten path and much harder to find than the ordinary and golden yarn balls, so you'll need to scour levels in order to find them all. Once you find a Blueprint, you'll be able to trade it in at Terry and Terri's shop for special upgrades for Bubsy that give him new moves or improve his stats. Bubsy 4D is made up of a total of 15 levels (16 if you count the tutorial) that are spread across three distinct worlds, each being based on a different crafting material like wool and paper. Four of those levels are fully focused on platforming and collecting, while the last stage in each world also has its own, sometimes surprisingly challenging, boss fight to deal with. Each stage in Bubsy 4D can take anywhere between five and 15 minutes, depending on how much exploring you do to find yarn balls and Blueprints. That might seem a little on the short side (especially compared to the lengthier Demon Tides), but there's a lot more to Bubsy 4D if you're aiming for 100 percent. As well as finding all of the collectibles in each stage, you'll also need to do some speedrunning and beat each level in a certain amount of time to get a stage's time trial trophy. Bubsy 4D's time trials can be quite challenging at times and require some mastery of the game's mechanics.
