This is an AMD AM4 chip that has 6 cores and 12 threads with a maximum boost speed of 4.2GHz. It runs cool and can handle most things you want to throw at it. Unfortunately, DDR4 RAM has also now become unaffordable for plenty of people due to the demand. The next logical step is DDR3 RAM, but, of course, its supply is even more constrained due to its age and the fact that it's not really being produced in large quantities anymore.
