The in-game countdown timer in Fortnite Showdown is counting down to the start date for this season’s Epilogue Live Event, marking the end of Chapter 7 Season 2. When the countdown timer reaches zero, the Fortnite Shattered Live Event will begin, pitting both Team Foundation and Team Ice King against one another.
