While you can play Forza Horizon 6 just fine using a regular controller, they don't compare to the immersive feel you get when using a steering wheel controller, and the Logitech G29 is one of the better ones for PC and PlayStation hardware. You can see its exact location in the above image, but for some reason, if you don't have it unlocked, just keep playing the main story races to get more Wristbands --it'll unlock eventually!
