The latest theory is all the work of one particular dedicated Grand Theft Auto 6 fan on Reddit named Then-Pomegranate-625. This same user had previously tried monitoring traffic in Rockstar’s area as a way to “prove” a trailer may be imminent. Obviously, this didn’t make that much sense since traffic changes could come from a vast majority of choices, with developers and Take-Two executives flocking to the studio being pretty low on the list. There's one fairly simple answer to explain the game's absence: Rockstar Games does not need the Summer Game Fest platform to bring attention to GTA 6. It is already going to be the biggest release of the year, most likely the generation, and quite possibly of all time.
