In the MCU, Red Skull was destroyed thanks to his contact with the Infinity Stones, ending up as a Stone guard on Vormir. In the comics, Red Skull was killed in 2024's Thunderbolts #4. The villain was targeted by Bucky Barnes' team, but ultimately killed by Doom, who loathes him for his part in the genocide of Romani people during the Holocaust.
