What Happened to Leon After RE4?

Leon's whole job in Resident Evil 4 was to find Ashley Graham, the sitting president's daughter, and get her back to safety. That's exactly what he did after beating Saddler, and while no other piece of media showed what happened to Leon directly after the events of the Las Plagas incident in Valdelobos, Spain, we know that Leon refused Ashley's intent to have him as part of her security detail, and he resumed his career as a member of the Anti-Umbrella Pursuit and Investigation Unit until he was recruited into the DSO (Division of Security Operations). Later on, new Plaga variants would be engineered by an organization called Tricell, which is directly .
