Oura recommends all customers, including existing members, to use an Oura 5 sizing kit before placing an order for the new ring. Because it's smaller, it will fit and feel different on your finger.  I went through the sizing process, and I'm the same size on both Gen 4 and Gen 5 rings. Whether you should upgrade your Oura Ring to the latest model depends on where you're starting from. If you're new to Oura, I would recommend the Oura Ring 5. If you have a Gen 3 or older, I also recommend upgrading to the new hardware since it's more accurate.
