After the main showcase, Xbox's Gears of War: E-Day Direct promises to take Gears fans "into the start of Emergence Day, offering new details, gameplay and insights about the hugely anticipated origin story to the Gears of War saga." Another game that could have shown up anywhere, but didn't show up at all, is whatever the next big Sonic game is going to be. Sonic Racing: Crossworlds is getting a lot more content, and there's a Sonic Pico Park game coming our way, which I'm not at all mad about, but nothing about a Sonic Frontiers 2 or whatever it is Sega has planned for the blue blur.
