By all accounts, we’ll be playing a new mythology-hopping God of War game starring Kratos’ late wife Faye this time next year. The title, directed by Santa Monica Studio icon Cory Barlog, is said to look and feel like a new IP, so we’re predicting another reinvention for the long-running franchise, after the excellent Ragnarok. It feels like the right time to start teasing this title, if it’s due out in 2027.
